As I write this, #letsbelivin has 98 posts—we are so close to 100! The best part? I see new Instagramers joining in on the fun every day. I can’t express how excited I am that you’re excited.
Christmas is in one week! Can you believe it? I am almost done with my Christmas shopping—this is a big deal for me because I’m usually that person battling the mall crowds on Christmas Eve. I couldn’t help but be particularly drawn to these three photos for the weekly favorites, so let’s celebrate the holiday spirit!
Beth of Being Beth
Are those Christmas stirrers? These holiday cocktails look delicious and I love the ornaments and backdrop. I hope this is helping you get into the Christmas spirit, Beth!
Beth of Being Beth is down to earth and discusses all sorts of topics like DIY, the holiday season (I really love the free printable she provides for her cookie exchange!), current reads, what’s going on in life, and recipes. Not to mention, she posts consistently and you can always count on her to have something new and great to check out! This blog was actually one of the first I commented on as a new blogger and I’ve closely followed Beth’s journey of pursuing her desired career field of PR/marketing. Sound like someone else you know? But honestly, Beth talks about real stuff in such a sincere way. I wish her the best of luck with her job search because it’s obvious from her blog that she will excel in her dream job.
Megan of Hello Megan O
I couldn’t “like” this photo fast enough. Antlers, beards, and Christmas aprons? Can I be one of your best friends too, Megan?
Megan of Hello Megan O shares her travel experiences and her twenty-something life. She’s been to over thirty countries and I love the variety of her Instagram feed! She provides her readership opportunity to get to know her through her weekly wrap-ups and she is so friendly. By the way, congratulations to your sister for graduating! Flagstaff is such a beautiful city surrounded by breath-taking nature (freshman college boyfriend attended Northern Arizona and I visited more times than I can count). I hope you’re enjoying your stay!
Oh, and Megan knows how to properly incorporate Instagram photos on her blog posts, which might as well be rocket science to a certain someone who can’t figure it out to save her life. Help me, Megan?
Mattie of Mattie’s Makings
Check out how to make these beautiful DIY Christmas tree ornaments on Mattie’s Makings! There is still one week before Christmas and they’re easy to create! (Even for someone DIY challenged like yours truly)
Please jump over to Mattie’s Makings and quickly guess how long her blog has been up and running. Go ahead, I’ll wait.
……. Okay, we’re back. DIY Christmas Tree Ornaments is Mattie’s FIRST post on December 15th, 2015. Mind = blown. I seriously kept clicking around because I did not believe it. How does someone have that professional photography, gorgeous layout (which I have included on my list of “this is what I like” for my own web design because I love it so much), a detailed and perfectly formatted “About Me” page, multiple comments and blogger interactions, and a newsletter on the first day of blogging!? You get a standing ovation for starting your blog with a bang!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I can’t wait to see what else you wonderful individuals post on Instagram and tag with #letsbelivin. Be sure to check out how the Instagram hashtag got started and the basic guidelines and I’ll see you next week! (Weekly Favorites will be delayed one day due to Christmas)
